外出を奪われたセブで、私は風景を描き始めました。
本作は、海を前に静かに佇む人物を描いた一枚です。
水に入るのでもなく、
浮かぶのでもなく、
ただ海を見つめる。
強い光と水平線、
屋根の影に包まれた身体。
動きのない時間の中に、
ふと立ち現れる感覚をとらえています。
セブの著名画家Tito Cuevasらが信頼を寄せる

越境の中で生まれた、1点物の原画です。

During the COVID lockdown,
confined in Cebu, I began painting landscapes.
This work portrays a figure quietly facing the sea.
Neither entering the water,
nor floating —
simply looking out toward the horizon.
Strong light and a distant line of sea and sky,
a body resting within the shade of a small shelter.
It captures a subtle sensation
that emerges within stillness.
Custom-framed at a workshop trusted by
the renowned Cebu-based painter Tito Cuevas.
