外出を奪われたセブで、私は風景を描き始めました。
本作は、水辺に立つ身体を描いた一枚。
floatin’シリーズが「浮遊の境界」を扱うのに対し、
本作は「立つ」という状態を描いています。
水と陸のあいだ、
動と静のあいだ。
セブの光と湿度を含んだ空気の中で、
身体は風景の一部として存在しています。
セブの著名画家Tito Cuevasらが信頼を寄せる
額縁工房にて特注額装。
越境の中で生まれた、1点物の原画です。

During the COVID lockdown,
confined in Cebu, I began painting landscapes.
This work depicts a figure standing at the water’s edge.
While the floatin’ series explores
the delicate boundary of suspension,
this piece focuses on the act of standing.
Between water and land.
Between motion and stillness.
In the light and humidity of Cebu,
the body exists as part of the landscape.
Custom-framed at a workshop trusted by
the renowned Cebu-based painter Tito Cuevas.
An original, one-of-a-kind piece
born through a practice shaped across borders.
